For the past 3-4 days I have been in pain when I go to toilet and for a while after. I do not think this is uc related because I have been doing so well the last few weeks, google seems to think it is hemmeroids or anal fissure. Paracetamol has helped me a lot, but has stopped working now and for most of today I have been in a lot of pain. I can't get to the doctors until Tuesday, Was wondering if anyone had had any experience with this. Any advise would be great

Ive been there.. It sucks... Take over the counter pain med - Tylenol if you dont have prescribed pain med from the Doc. However in my experiance nothing will stop sharp rectal pain. Maybe try a warm bath - sometimes I would even sit on a heating pad. For sure switch to low residue diet - or just liquids for a few days. Another option to try is quit toilet paper completely . Use a spray bottle - portable bidet is best - if you must wipe use cottenelle flushable wipes. Good luck - get to the Doc ASAP. You might have a fissure.

Any chance they're spasms, those are pretty painful and treated with antispasmodic meds...
