Hi, my insurance is changing this year and has many options of providers. I live in the central valley (modesto) and my current physician seems incredibly unwilling to change my medicine from humira even though I have been having problems. I would like to hear if anyone has a good provider they like in the area. Thank you so much!

I'm not in your area but here are some resources that might help you:
Doctor Ratings:
www.ratemds.com/
Finding a GI:

I live in Texas, but I found my amazing doctor through the following website:
https://integrativemedicine.arizona.edu/alumni.html
They have a search function where you can look up doctors by state and/or city.
Hope it helps.

This is somewhat at a distance for you, but UCal/SF has a good IBD faculty physicians group. A member here, *Jen*, has posted about
seeing Dr. Uma Mahadevan there for several yrs-- with positive results, and she lives around the San Jose area, it seems. (I know that this gastro has collaborated with mine in NY, who is excellent, in the past.) / Old Hat (36 yrs with left-sided UC; presently in remission taking brandname Colazal)
