The doc prescribed this since it helps with the diarrhea. Apparently it's used for high cholesterol but acts as a binding agent. It's a mix you add to water or a drink with dinner. Anyone hear of it or find it beneficial?

I got benefit when I had a lot of D. The packets are a bother and I switched to the pills, but they don't help quite as much.

I've been using the pills for years. I've never tried the packets though. They work very well and I only need one at a time to take away my burning pain and diarrhea.
