Got the results of my cat scan yesterday.

It's possible. There is a form of fibroid nodules in the lungs connected to long term mesalamine use.
There are lung nodules connected to autoimmune....rheumatoid arthritis for one.
How many nodules were found? And were they in both lungs?
Please let us know how the appointment goes.

Good luck, dr Google can be a dangerous thing. Let doctors diagnose. Btw I'm not familar with lung involvement and UC; that'd be new to me. Let us know what you findout.

Hi....wow, serious stuff. Have you had cultures to find out what type of fungus? Do they have an idea of how you would have contracted it?
I hope the meds will be able to get you treated without too much delay.
