You can try several things to relieve constipation. Some are short term relief but it's a long term goal that may take some time to get right.
Drink more water
Take a gentle laxative but don't make this a permanent solution
Use over the counter suppositories like Vitamin E supps (available from Amazon)
Take a fiber supplement daily
Take a teaspoon of healthy oil in the morning (olive or coconut oil)
Don't eat foods with a lot of insoluble fiber (nuts, cabbage, multi grain bread, tortilla chips)
My gut likes well-cooked spinach, baby carrots and potatoes
Long term constipation relief=lowering inflammation by mesalamine enemas and suppositories, oral RX meds.
Diet is also a large part of my remission but other people can get there with RX meds only.
