Dry heaves while pooping

Does this happen to anyone else? I'm going poop- literally just emptying out- pretty solid stool but it takes me a good ten minutes to enjoy.

Sometimes I feel like my colon is pushing is hard to get my poop out that it almost makes me dry heave. I have to try really hard not to grow up. I know it's al muscles- just wants to push it out and I think it's happening to give me some indigestion while Glenn.

I don't even know if I'm explaining it right. Can anyone else relate?

Yes, I've experienced the dry heaves or at minimum extreme nausea. Sometimes mine is prior to a BM even before I feel the urge to go. It's basically a warning for me to find a bathroom. If I'm actually having a BM, sometimes the peristalsis or propulsion of poop is so intense, I feel like I'm going to throw up.

Yes I have experienced what platinum has described. I had a few times during my first (and worst) flare. But I'm guaranteed to have it for at least the first BM after drinking the c-scope prep. You know, that first movement when the flood gates open.

I've never had dry heaves from my stomach, but when I'm in a really bad flare, my colon and anus will dry heaves after a bowl movement. It's really horrible.

I think yall need to be careful t distinguish nausea from pain versus heaves/nausea from violent expulsion versus heaves form straining.

These are very different circumstances and symptoms and the muddled conversion benefits nobody.

Humm good point. This is more like I have to swoallow it down or else I'm gonna throw up. That's only why I called it dry heaves. It's like I'm burping it up while holding it down.

Sounds like to me that your dry heaves/vurps could be from inflammation. You are recovering from serious flare requiring hospitalization. When my flares require a hospital stay, I'm too nauseated to eat/drink and often thrown up while going to the bathroom. Once my inflammation heals, the nausea/vomiting goes away. As DBwithUC mentioned, there are several reasons for the symptoms. Hopefully this unmuddles the conversation.
