Interesting. I googled it and found a few private clinics within 1 hour of where I'm located that offer it. It would be out of pocket because it's not approved for IBD. These clinics are run by MD's but they are not GI docs and seem to recommend it for a long list of problems/illnesses, everything from ADHD, autism to brain injuries.
I would be too nervous trying this experimental treatment since I'm not sure these MDs would know about
dosing/number of times for UC patients, and who knows if the machine is safe/well calibrated. They don't seem affiliated with any medical center.
It's still way better than getting your colon removed, so i'll flag it if my UC gets way worse in the future.
