So I'm tapering off prednisone (now at 3mg) and take it in the am. By afternoon (now it's about 4pm), I'm starting to get that feeling that I'm being punched in the stomach. It's after dinner when I have bad gas pains, on a scale of 5-6 out of a 10. I've been taking it easy with diet so Idk if that's what's causing it.
My doc said not to add any immodium, mylanta, or gas x bc bascially it's going to masking symptoms, which he doesn't want me to do. If I'm having gas pains, he wants to know. I only went down to 30 mg on Thurs, so these symptoms are still relatively new.
Also, I've been out of the hospital for a week and a half now, and I want to try and get my strength back. At what point do you guys think I can start working out again? I don't anticipate doing anything intense, but maybe start yoga in a few days? I've been walking the dog, and increasing my general activity and it's coming back. I just lost weight at the hospital and I feel a little on the saggy side. I want to try and get back to a healthy state, especially with my diet not including salads and other fresh veggies. I don't want all these mashed potatoes and stuff adding up!
Thoughts?
