Tiny amount of blood today

Hi guys,

Just looking for a reality check here. This morning the end of my otherwise ok BM had a very small amount of red blood. More than 2-3 flecks, but not what I would call a streak of blood. I also saw something similar exactly a week ago, but got my period then so I thought the blood was from that, because there was hardly anything on the stool. I don't think I would have seen it except that I always use the flashlight on my phone to get a better look at what is in there.
Stool is otherwise pretty normal, going 1-2 times a day except for two days last week when I had horrible cramps from my period when I went 3 times.
I have had mucus on and off since my father in law passed away in late January, but feel fine. I have to call my doctor to request a lialda refill today, but do you think I should ask to have my April 25 appointment moved sooner? I am on 4 lialda a day and am supposed to use rowasa every 3 days but always bump to every other when I have my period because it often makes my UC worse and have been doing this now for week. Too early in the morning to not write run on sentences, sorry. Thanks!

Could it be a hemorrhoid? I'm completely in remission but have been experiencing some blood here and there with wiping and since I've been straining a bit and feel some burning, I'm quite certain a hemorrhoid is to blame.

I don't think there's any harm in moving up your appointment of for nothing else to ease your mind. I often wonder if my stress over flaring causes me to flare.

I called to refill my scripts and talked to the nurse. She made an appointment for me for next week and said if things get better to cancel, she is holding my other appointment open as well for now. My colon is making some squeaking noises now as well. Fingers crossed, Rowasa every night until I see him.

I was alternating rowasa between 2-3 days. Stress has to have played a role in this for sure.
