How could he say you had microscopic inflammation before getting the biopsy results? If he saw inflammation, it's not microscopic. If he didn't see inflammation, he couldn't yet know that you have microscopic inflammation.
In any case, if it turns out that you do, it will depend to some extent on what the biopsies show. It may be that since you're feeling well, and that the inflammation is only micro and not macro, that there is no reason to change or up your treatment.
