In general terms SR is standard release, usually ER is extended release. Not sure how they are using the term.
MMX is a form of extended release that is essentially a sponge that expands out of the pill and is saturated with meds, and swabs you tissue. Lialda is MMX mesalamine.
Cortiment seems to be what is sold in US as Uceris. It is a form of Budesonide steroid. It is formulated to release in the colon and act mostly topical. the usual pill strength is 9mg.
Entocort is also Budesonide. The EC version is an extended release. I am not sure what the difference is with Uceris.
But basically it is all steroid. You can use it to let the Remicade get a foothold, but not ongoing.
You may want a mesalamine suppository for the rectum.
