I have saved my photos onto an external hard drive rather than a cloud service that I can readily share, but here is the link to a cat video of our new baby. smile (I would think this link would bring you to other videos also, short movies of the cat fetching a toy, etc.)

Thanks, Serenity. Actually, because she "squeaks" (as opposed to our last cat that had a low, loud, alto operatic MEOW) we tend to call her Squeaky a lot, lol......She is a lot of fun.

Thanks. She is fun, for sure. I hadn't realized how much I missed the joy of a critter in the house! And we had not had a kitten in over 20 years.

Actually, "Sam" lol - Her name was Midnight and I was trying to get her to talk for Sam (aka S.Boy) so I could send him a video. Midnight was 19 in that video, and lived another 8 months, to age 20! She was a fine, fine cat.

Was Midnight deaf? They tend to meow very loudly and with much purpose....but sounds like my Kiera and others at that age with deafness. They're such a part of us....good memories.

Yes, Midnight lost her hearing about age 18. She always sounded like a Siamese, but after she became deaf she became louder - and less timid than she had been when there were guests in the house!

A poem for Songlady and Belle...

I and Pangur Ban my cat, 
'Tis a like task we are at: 
Hunting mice is his delight, 
Hunting words I sit all night.

Better far than praise of men 
'Tis to sit with book and pen; 
Pangur bears me no ill-will, 
He too plies his simple skill.

'Tis a merry task to see 
At our tasks how glad are we, 
When at home we sit and find 
Entertainment to our mind.

Oftentimes a mouse will stray 
In the hero Pangur's way; 
Oftentimes my keen thought set 
Takes a meaning in its net.
