I previously posted a question regarding how many days to continue Rowasa for 1 day of small amount of blood seen. I was just curious what you would do since I am basically following your recipe for success. I had been feeling better and better using Rowasa twice a week, Canasa 5x a week in PM, and 4 balsalazide per day (per my GI to maintain remission). I saw a little blood not intertwined but at beginning a stool and also on TP. I amped up the Rowasa to nightly and never saw blood again after that day. I hate using nightly Rowasa and have continued it for 9 nights in a row now. I answered some of your questions in my previous post regarding probiotics etc. I did not see any mucous with the blood and digestion had been going very well prior.

How many days would you continue using Rowasa before trying to taper again and would you do anything else??
