Do Enemas Work Better Once You Start taking Prednisone?

This may be a dumb question, but just wondering if the reduction in inflammation from the prednisone gives the rectal meds a better chance to heal the colon?

I've been flaring for almost 3 months and the rectal meds - both Rowasa and Hydrocort - have not helped me at all this time. I had a scope on Tuesday which showed severe rectal inflammation 18 cms (the rest of my colon was normal).

I finally started the dreaded pred this morning for the first time ever and I'm wondering if it might help give those enemas a chance to work!
