No, you wouldn't die if you got your remicade infusion with an active fever.
If you have an active infection that requires antibiotics (a UTI, bronchitis, sinus infection, etc.) then you should delay your remicade infusion until your course of antibiotics is over. Why? Your body can fight off an infection easier and quicker with antibiotics and without remicade. Your body responds to an infection by causing inflammation, remicade weakens the body's ability to cause inflammation. So, while on remicade the infection symptoms you experience would be worse, more severe, and last longer than if you were not on remicade.
If you were already taking remicade and got an infection while on it, then the infection might take a few extra days to treat total , one of which is an extra day of bad symptoms.
