For those who have had success with Slipper Elm/Marshmallow Root/Psyllium Husk for colitis, have you seen any patterns or best practices of how much to take and when? I am thinking of taking 1g of both Slippery Elm and Marshmallow root in the morning to provide a coating for my colon on an empty stomach to protect the lining before I eat my daily meals, and then take 1g psyllium husk at night before sleeping so that the psyllium husk can go in as a agent to cleanly remove all colon contents in one sweep. Thoughts?
