Remicade and antibiotics

I'd recommend calling the hospital or infusion center where you are scheduled to have your remicade as soon as possible. Tell them you have strep and are on antibiotics.

They may choose to delay your infusion until you've finished your course of antibiotics. As you'll heal from the strep quicker if your remicade-levels are lower. Once strep is controlled, remicade can be administered. Often a delay of a few days or a week has little or no difference within our UC symtpoms.
