Chromoendoscopy and Type of Prep

Hope everyone is doing well. Is there any difference to what type of prep should be used for a colonoscopy with Chromoendoscopy? I have one coming up and the GI called in a script for what appears to be generic GoLytely but I always use Dulcolax/Miralax. Obviously I will consult with him but just curious what the general consensus is.

Just had one 2 weeks ago. Same procedure as a colonoscopy. Ask for whatever prep works best for you.

Oh BTW! Are you doing the blue dye one? I just had my first so wasn't sure what to expect and no one prepared me. The blue dye makes your colon a beautiful shade of blue. So I expected to poop blue but was shocked to find it actually turned my pee blue. Very pretty shade but not at all what I expected so it freaked me out at first until I realized it had to be the dye. It lasted for several days and then went to green for a couple more. I imagine it would be good to drink a lot of water after to help flush it out. I wish one of the nurses or Dr would have warned me. And the dye stains too so wear old undies or ones you won't mind tossing after.
