I never insulted anyone with an ostomy. I have strong opinions about it, mostly relating to my bodily sovereignty, but I don't have anything against ostomates. Every time I shared my opinion about my lack of desire to ever get surgery, I always prefaced it with me having nothing against people who choose to get surgery as UC is a horrible disease.

please, take a break and let it go - i seriously can't imagine what satisfaction you gain from this -

most folks on this forum are hurting in way or another on a daily basis - this kind of continued negativity can't help -

nssg is one of the kindest and most compassionate members i've encountered on this forum and i don't appreciate how you are treating her -

Genuine question (before the inevitable thread locking).

Why would you rather die than get surgery? You have UC, you can get a j-pouch. Why would you not even give a j-pouch a go first?

Connor this is just plain ridiculous, I'm giving you a cool-off-period. The purpose of this forum is to help others, once you start flaming others you dissuade others from posting openly. With UC, we talk about a lot of embarrassing stuff (bowel movements, pains, depression, etc.) and it is important that healingwell remain family friendly, and welcoming, and nobody feels he/she will get attacked for this. This is a moderated forum, we try not to edit, delete posts but sometimes it is necessary in order to keep the forum confirming to the site admin's goals, of a supportive and helpful place to get answers. I'm not sure what you're trying to accomplish by all of this...
