Progress stalled by the flu?

so i've been on Entyvio since the summer. My new doctor recently moved my dosage up to 6 weeks instead of 8. i havent had much time doing the 6 week course so the jury is still out.

However, my progress has largely stalled the past few months to 4-5 times using the bathroom per day with only one or two of them actually resulting in a bowel movement. my doctor and i believe that is the result of good improvement in inflammation in the colon but nagging inflammation remaining in the rectum.

i had a bad case of the flu. in the days since, my bowels have remained as formed as they've been, but i've had some annoying urgency the past few days and maybe 2-3 more BMs per day.

i would imagine our digestive system is all messed up when we are recovering between the powerful flu medication (tamiflu) and the illness itself. should i be concerned that these symptoms are reappearing for the first time in weeks, if not months, or will they kind of thing happen with illnesses and it will eventually fade back to where it was pre-flu?

Take some good probiotics and wait 3-4 days and see if you balance out back to your normal. I'd say the odds of a flareup are low.
