Question about Inflectra side effects (generic brand Remicade)

Hey everyone,

So my gi decided to put me on remicade, but that got changed to Inflectra, which is the generic brand, because I have beeen having a bad flare up for some time now. I’ve been taking asacol and meslamine, and I was previously taking prednisone but I tapered off. When I tapered off, I started to have a flare up. Anyways that’s the reason for them switching my medication plan. My first infusion is in a week. But the main question I have is what sort of side effects will I experience if any? I heard you can develop flu symptoms which is not good because I will only have 48 hours to recover because I work two days after my infusion & If I do experience symptoms not sure if that’s enough time to recover. Any knowledge would be helpful

I haven't had any side effects from Remicade so far.

I am a little tired the day before my Remicade infusion because my body is starting to go into a slight flare because I need my infusion again.

I may be a little tired the next day but I think that's from the stress of going to the infusion center and the pre-medication called Benadryl that they give me before my Remicade infusions and has nothing to do with the Remicade at all.

By the second day I'm feeling great again.
