Hemorrhoid or Starting of a UC flare

Hi,

I was recently diagnosed with left sided colitis just a little before my 30th birthday this year, I was given mezavant which didn’t help until i was given a 21 day prescription of Pentasa enemas. This got the bleeding and abdominal pain to stop for 3weeks. Today i had a BM and noticed there was bright red blood covering a tiny amount of my stool and i wiped there was little blood but no mucus. Can this be a hemorrhoid or am i beginning another flare?
