UB,
It may or may not be antibodies.
I know I am on a different biologic...but wanted to share..
When I developed antibodies to Remicade I did have more nausea. The GI explained it could be a result of the antibodies or it could be because my treatment plan was not working very well during that time period and I was in a mini flare. He and my CRS continue to research and try to find the reason.
Usually it comes out of left field, it starts and ends suddenly, everything else tests out ok, and it lasts about
a week. I keep journals, have tests...but nada... My GI and CRS keep looking for the reason. My Internalist calls them "break thru" Crohns symptoms. She has stated that sometimes your body can not keep all aspects of Crohns under control even when you are on meds.
Have you tried to have the stronger anti nausea meds prescribed? That seemed to help some, plus I use cold therapy...ice or cold showers help too.
