two different purposes
In the NHS they do not do c-scopes for treatment management, but either to diagnose or for cancer screening. That is what I was told by the IBD team at my local hospital.
For instance, they did not even let me do a fecal calprotectin test (I did it, but had to pay for it myself) because that is done to differentiate IBS vs. IBD and select patients to direct to colonoscopies.
