Around the time I started taking magnesium glycinate (I have never taken this form of magnesium before) I started to get much more rectal bleeding.
Other ingredients are Cellulose, Staric Acid, Silica and Magnesium stearate - all of which I have used and had no problems.
Prior to the glycinate form I have used magnesium citrate and magnesium L-threonate and haven't get this increased rectal bleeding from them.
I am not confident in attributing the increase in rectal bleeding to magnesium glycinate, it doesn't make much sense to me; but I can't track any other causative for this to happen.
What are your thoughts? Have you ever had a similar experience with magnesium glycinate?
I will stop taking the supplement for some time to see if it still persists.
