Help choosing BIDET

Can I call on the Healingwell community for help with this? I am so weak right now that it is hard to stare at a computer screen for more than 20 minutes, and I'm in such incredible pain.

I really need a bidet attachment for my toilet, but I have no idea how to pick one. The choices on amazon are overwhelming not to mention the whole internet. There are also portable ones and I'm not sure if those could be much better or not since I'm mostly stuck at home.

If anyone here actually has a bidet attachment for their toilet and could chime in that would be amazing. I have a prolapsed rectum, draining abscesses, and bleeding thrombosed hemorrhoids that all need regular cleaning. So toilet paper has to go bye bye! It's a lot of money to burn through TP anyway.

Could I call on this community to do some internet searching for me? I guess my only requests are that it has a cold and warm water option, and a soft and hard water force option. Oh and something durable... no plastic parts? This thing has to last me. I wan't a nozzle that I hold in my hand like a hose and not one of those bidets that permanently hides in the toilet bowel near the toilet seat. Those models would get regularly doused by my explosive D.

My budget is $70 USD but I could stretch $100 if a friend helps me, which he might.

I have the cheap, cold water only, plastic one fitted on both toilets. They have lasted couple years no problem. They're about $30 each. And they are awesome. Even in winter it seems fine, as it is kinda soothing .
You clean them as often as you clean your toilet, easy enough.
If you have someone to fit them, with a simple hose and T- adapter, it only takes a few minutes.

It's couple years old.... very similar to the one boris linked, except it has a lever instead of a dial. I think the dial pressure might be better!
But there are models like that with front and back spray, which might be better suited for you??

Can purchase it directly from the manufacturer or on-line and in many hardware stores. I'm sure there are other brands as well, but this one had good reviews and was inexpensive.

I bought it to see if it would help with my fistula. Made all the difference in the world. It's strong enough (or the water pressure here is) that if you want you can actually give yourself a mini enema after each poop... sounds kinda crazy but it's amazing what comes out. I can now go the whole day after without the need or urge arising during work. Or rarely arising. I think the complex fistula I have must have effected the muscles in my sphincter area or something that caused me not to have complete bowel movements. Anyway this fixed the issue in a sense. As a side benefit my fistula does not bother me anymore and is not active unless I have a D attack, but even then it is minor. I think it has to do with 'cleaning' things out in that area.

Best purchase I have ever made... Seriously.

In hindsight (no pun intended) I might opt for the warm/cold hookup one next time if my toilet is close to the hot water pipe but having to adjust two knobs just seems inefficient and a pain. However the one I have is just fine and uses cold water, or more so whatever the water temperature is coming from your cold water sully line to the toilet. It's refreshing and does the job. Total installation time was about 3-5 minutes maybe but I am good with that sort of stuff. Maybe double that if you have not done something similar in the past. There are online installation videos that might assist some that need it.

Cost me about $80 CAD - so about $60 USD.

Quite the ROI.
