flu - remicade and low grade fever

I am curious, a few weeks back I caught the flu. a had a low grade fever for a couple of days and then it went away on its on. I spoke to a nurse on the phone and she told me that if my temperature goes up to 38.1 I have to head over to the ER in the next 2 hrs. Is this true when you are on Remicade and Azathioprine. this gives me a bit of anxiety, I'm more prone now to check my temp when I am feeling sick.

If you have a high fever with UC, regardless of medication, you should see a doctor asap. Why? A high fever can mean toxic-mega-colon or sepsis. I'd say a standard cold or flu is no reason to worry, with normal temps.
