From personal experience, I know that marijuana harms the brain and the lungs. I used it myself when I was a teen, but I never encouraged others to use it because I knew it was harmful.
I listened to a health summit on the brain not that long ago. One of the speakers viewed brain scans as part of his job. He said he could always tell a pot smoker by their brain scan, and it didn't look good. He said that pot smokers always had a lot of damage to their brains.
So, yes, damage.
