Anal fissures ok now

Since finding this place and a good proctologist, my anal fissures are mostly resolved. For those who don’t know, an anal fissure is actual splits in the interior of the anus, about an inch or so up. The pain is horrendous (8/10 for hours).

The doc prescribed a formulated ointment of nifedipine .3%/lidocaine 1.5%, plus cortisone suppositories. I had been suffering for months and the relief was almost immediate. Just make sure you insert the ointment up to where the fissures are.

That is lovely. I hope they stay away. Mine was right on the outer edge. My GI could see them when she took a look, but she did kind of have to spread the cheeks. How awful - the things we go trough because of our butt issues.
