Hemorrhoids causing small blood?

It is not uncommon for us to develop hemorrhoids given all the irritation and fluctuating bowel habits (search on the forum, and you will see dozens of posts). It is also not uncommon to wonder whether blood is from the UC or the hemorrhoids. I, for example, am not in remission, but the meds are currently controlling the rectal bleeding and diarrhea part of my UC. I have days where I get a bit constipated and this definitely aggravates my long-term internal hemorrhoids, leaving just a drop or two of blood. My next poop, no blood at all, so I know what to attribute it to and don't worry unless it is part of a larger pattern, at which point I e-mail my GI.

My GI doesn't want to both my internal hemorrhoids because of the inflammation already existing my rectum.
For prolapsed hemorrhoids (external), there are a few procedures that can be done in the doctor's office. I had a thrombosed hemorrhoid, which is so so so painful, but was able to treat it at home with ice, witch hazel, aloe, cortisone, and lots of warm baths, so it disappeared after 3 days.

Yea, I reckon he maybe will in February Quincy at the next appointment, I will push for it if the small blood hasn't cleared.

In the meantime, he says to report any urgency symptoms etc.

In the whole, I would rather the hemmie than inflammation.

Then again, maybe its both - frustrating.

The anxiety around Bright Red Blood freaks me out, so even if it is only a Hemmie I get inflammation from the stress of seeing blood. This then becomes a "is it the Hemmie or the inflammation"? Reality is it ends up being a little bit of both due to the stress.

Here is how I determine inflammation: blood + one of urgency, mucus, more than 3 BM's a day
Here is how I determine Hemorrhoids: blood + soreness, but 2 or less BM's a day.

Right now I have the latter, but am getting a C-Scope done in 2 or so weeks - no doubt they will find the Hemmie; just remains to be seen if inflammation is also there.
