I take Entyvio and Uceris Foam along with supplements such as Lp299v, Glycine, and psyllium. I had pancolitis but I believe now it is mainly distal (i.e. rectum, sigmoid). What is interesting is that my disease can be perfectly ok for long periods of time and then, if I accidentally consume certain emulsifiers, BOOM bleeding and pain. I wonder what the emulsifiers do? There are articles that they mess up the microbiome, mutate certain strains so that they can better attack the lining, and promote intestinal inflammation. Or do they cause the human body to create antibodies which attack them and thus attack the part of the colon where they are located as they travel through? I understand that these emulsifiers can hurt people with normal colon who have no disease, but they cause mild issues like watery stools for healthy people. So, maybe if I can just thicken my colon lining then the emulsifiers won't hurt me as much? Of course, I want to eliminate them but the are literally everywhere and the chance of accidentally consuming them will always be a worry.
But, back to colloidal silver, it is believed it can completely destroy all pathogenic bacteria in the body so it is intriguing.
