Often remicade or humira is your first biologic choice, as they have the longest safety record and are the least expensive. It's a "do you like pepsi or coke cola best?" kind of preference question. There are lots of success stories with both, so you cannot really go wrong.
Remicade is given every 8-weeks during maintenance phase, by IV at an infusion center or as hospital-outpatient. How close is your nearest hospital? Do they have convenient evening or weekend hours for IV infusions that you can do around school/work? If you choose Remicade, make sure to sign up for the copay/deductible assitance card (USA only) :

So you can do humira shots at home, which is pretty convenient. In maintenance phase, shots are given every two weeks Most get the humira pen, looks a lot like a writing pen you might have on your desk, press against the skin, and then press the button on the end.
