Switching from Entyvio to Xeljanz. Had some weird side effects from Entyvio-weight gain, forgetfulness, loss of concentration and joint pain.
Anyone have any side effects from xeljanz or any experiences? Thanks

Hi I've been taking xeljanz for 13 months and have no side effects that I'm aware of. It can make your cholesterol go up but the doctor should be monitoring that as standard.
I never did well on entyvio, caught 4 colds during the 4 months that I took it.

I have had a tremendous amount of success the last 5 months on Xeljanz. I have had no side effects whatsoever.
After 3 tough years I would say i am fully in remission.

No side effects for me other than I have gained a little weight back to my normal weight as over the years I have had UC (18) I had lost weight so in a way glad to have a better weight.

Good news so far. I’ve heard that it can cause weight loss? Any1 experience that? I would love to loose about
20lbs that I’ve gained on Entyvio.

If entyvio is causing weight gain then you ought to lose the weight on stopping it. I don't think weight loss on xeljanz is common, except as a rebound effect of getting off steroids.

I have gained weight on xeljanz but only because i started to have a completely normal transit and BM's. Never been happier to sock on a few lbs.
