Major help

Just had ileostomy takedown reversal surgery.spent 12 days in the hospital. It seems I can’t eat anything .
any food as soon as I begin chewing it’s 30-50 bathroom trips a day. This has caused fissures. Has anyone else gone through either and if so what helped ? Thanks

They’re of no help at the moment they said wait it out lol

Hi they say it takes a year to normalize. However in my case my J-pouch is riddled with inflammation and I have to be on antibiotics and prednisone for it. Fissures really don't sound good. Try to follow up and ask for treatment. Keep us posted.
