Hi guys
I'll be starting prednisone which I never have only uceris. I weaned off uceris and having headaches. I read online that if youre on prednisone you cannot have NSAIDS. Can I have tylenol?

yes you can have Tylenol. I use the arthritis strength -- 650 mg tablets

NSAIDs are never recommended for patients with IBD though some people here say they don't bother their UC

I have severe body and headaches not sure if tylenol will be good enough!

Occasional/rare NSAID use is generally fine for most of us, if Tylenol will not touch it.

Just know that regular NSAID use causes intestinal inflammation and ulceration. We have issues with inflammation and ulcers due to our UC, so try not to put gasoline on that fire with regular NSAIDs.

You can take pred with nsaids. And there is actually not any conclusive evidence that nsaids are bad for UC. I take Aleve at least once a week for headaches lately. My GI said that was fine as long as it didn't upset my gut.
