Tattoos on certain meds

Hey guys. Thinking of getting my 1st tattoo after the pandemic and been contemplating getting a nice Japanese style artwork on my arm. Anyway, cut a long story short, Upon doing some investigation on the process, some websites claim you need to stop taking blood thinning meds before getting a tattoo due to the healing process. Now obviously for us UC sufferers, that’s a non option. I’m on Azathioprine which is considered a blood thinning drug and just started my Biologics infusions. I’m currently in full remission. Anyone here on these meds and had tattoos? Was the healing process ok?

I just want to add that AZA isn't a blood thinner....it reduces the effectiveness of blood thinner meds, however.

We've had a number of posters get tattoos while being immune suppressed, no worries at all. I know Sherry (Red_34 a mod) has gotten a few cool tattoos and she is on at least remicade and maybe 6mp, I can't recall. Another poster with a username of Scum1 posted a number of pics of his tattoos while on biologics. Those are the two that immediately come to mind, but I know there were quite a number of others too. Faithmac got a few tattoos while on Simponi.
