I recently picked up a bottle of probiotics, sacchromes boullardi (however that’s spelled), and I happened to notice on the bottle that it had an unusual warning, a bit different than what I’m used to seeing on supplements. It was something like “Ask a doctor before use if you are taking other medicines or if you specifically have a compromised immune system or take immunosuppressive drugs”.. something like that. That may be an issue with steroids and it makes me curious. Will our bodies not handle probiotics as “invaders” if we are compromised??
I’ve tried probiotics many times and I’ve learned they don’t agree with me either. I do better drinking a bit of kombucha each day.
