Nystatin questions

Has anyone taken Nystatin before? If so, is it in a powder form or a tablet? How much dosage? For how long? I am going to speaking with my doctor about it on Monday and want to have as much information beforehand as possible.

I have been taking Olive Leaf Extract as part of anti-fungal approach and it seems to be working for me. So wanted to try prescribed medication now.

I've only used it in the liquid form, to treat pred induced thrush. Every time I'm on prednisone I get thrush- I've got a huge bottle of nystatin in my med cabinet right now. I didn't know it comes in any other form other than a liquid.
