Interesting article. Just as I suspected. I remember trying probiotics with the added prebiotic. Couldn't tolerate it at all. I was very discouraged thinking it was the probiotics, which had been so helpful for me, until I realized the prebiotic part was sugar, which is a no-no for me. When I went back to a probiotic without the added prebiotic, I felt fine. Still do. By the way, a little off topic, I went to my doctor today for a checkup. She had never even heard of caprylic acid, (couldn't even spell it) and didn't understand why I would be taking it to help my gut. As well, none of my friends have ever heard of a probiotic. When I suggest that they take them while on an antibiotic program, they just say..."huh?" Again, doctors just don't know about
fungus/yeast. Do your own research. Don't always depend on your doctor knowing everything.
