New UC research of interest

We all know that TNF-Alpha is one of the things that can be blocked to treat UC using medications such as Remicade, but some recent research from China has shown that TNF-A works in a synergistic way with another protein, MMP-1.

Its their action together that "appears" to cause the physical damage to the colon.
