Yoga is good for reducing stress & increasing flexibility. I would recommend checking out the Iyengar method because he is very concerned about
helping people who already have health problems. There are instructional books + DVDs available that would enable you to try some basic positions at home, unless you can enroll in a conveniently-located class. Borders is one chain I know that stocks his stuff in their "Fitness" section. / Old Hat (nearly 30 yrs with left-sided UC; currently on 3 Colazal daily; seem to be back in remission)
