Previos rx meds prior to diagnosis of UC

Has anyone taken arthritis meds prior to the onset of being diagnosed with UC?

I took NSAIDs for years for severe joint pains. They never caused me any problems. In fact, I still take Naproxen. My GI approved it because it doesn't affect my UC symptoms and it's basically the only thing that allows me to keep walking.
