Or any holiday for that matter. What do people make/eat that might be less traditional food. I can eat turkey but I also make a garlic/mushroom/spinach dish that sits very well with me.

Oh, that sounds good. I love spinach, but it gives me cramps and green slime, so I can't eat it. I fix the usual stuff, just in low-fat versions. If I'm flaring I may only eat a little turkey and some mashed potatoes, though. This is a great year, because I can eat everything.

Agh! That doesn't even LOOK good Pb! I think I will stick to the real thing :)
In the past, I would go to my grandmothers house who is mainly Polish. Every now and then she will serve Polish dishes in addition to the traditional foods. I don't embraced my Polish heritage to well so normally I tend to stick to the traditional T-day meals. Hard to try and eat Kalbasa and Saurerkraut (can we say instant bathroom run???) when you have a big ole turkey sitting on the table!
