First i would like to say thank you all for saying the prayers for me, when i went in last wednesday for my colonscopy. Well needless to say everyone knows that i was admitted to the hosptial on Oct. 2 2007 for a week, my doc did a flex sig on me and told me i had colitis. when i was released from the hosptial i had to make a follow up appt with my doc, so i did he put me on 400 mg of asacol to take 4 times a day which was 1600 mg a day. and he also put me on bentyal as well. so i took the meds as he said do. So i had to do a full colonscopy on nov 21, 2007 (thanks again for all the prayers) i got my results after it was done, the doc said my colonscopy can back fine and i could cut back on my ascaol to 2 pills a day which is 800 mg a day. i feel like im doing ok. I have some intermitten (sp) pain on my right side (the tech at the hosptial on my ct-scan said i had pancolitis but seen mostly on the right side) but now my doc is saying that my colonscopy is ok, he took some biopoises (sp) and said to make a 6 week follow up and if i dont hear back from my biopoises then not to worry. Well im so confused, i did do a hida scan for my gallbladder and it was at 37 percent he told me it was border line and i needed to follow up with my surgeon which is dec 11. I hope this is so not confusing to you all. Any suggestions will be great.
