Remicade and weight loss drugs

Hello to everyone!   My 16 year old has been on Remicade since January and although she has never had an issue with her body image, I have noticed that she has put on a few extra pounds.  What concerns me is that at some point she will think (as a lot of young adults do) that she will need to take weight loss drugs to lose the weight.   My question is, does anyone know if there are restrictions on what you can take with Remicade?  There was only one drug (I can't remember the name off hand) that they specifically tell you not to take.   I would like to encourage her to exercise and watch what she eats but you know how kids are.  After she goes off to college next year, I won't have as much control over what does.   Thanks to all.  

Please don't misunderstand, I don't think she will take them now, she doesn't have any issues that I'm aware of and she goes to a very small private school so there isn't as much peer pressure.  However, it’s once she goes off to college that I worry about .  I would love to tell her the all weight loss drugs are off limits, but if a doctor tells her otherwise that makes me look bad. I guess I am just asking to be better informed.  She is doing great on Remicade as am I and within the first six weeks she had regained all her weight.

Definitely don't give her the Alli. It works by preventing the body from absorbing fat, and gives a lot of people fatty diarrhea. For a UC-er, it would be a nightmare, probably.

My suspicion is that the extra pounds are related to the steroids and will come off again after she tapers off them. Also, she'll hopefully feel so much better that she will be able to be more active.
