I looked the company up. Looks as if they're a brand new company whose drugs are all in the research stage. I hope their IBD research produces new choices for us!

That does sound promising. Sadly, they're only in Phase 1 of the trials. According to the info that Judy linked to, Phase 2 of the clinical trials can take up to 2 years. And then there are still a few more phases...

I wonder if they do their drug testing only in Australia. I wouldn't mind participating in that kind of study... Could be great.

I would give them a call and find out. I tried calling a few moments ago and it went to voicemail. If they are doing testing in the U.S. anytime soon, I would be interested in being a lab rat.

Hope they figure it out before they go bankrupt. Looked up the stock and at first glance it's not pretty. They need a home run!

Quick update. Spoke to my GI on this one. Phase 2 clinical trials start first half 2008 in Australia.

That's good news. I still don't have any info on when the company might be conducting clinical trials in the U.S. I hope they have plans to do so.
