Hi everyone! I thought maybe a new thread would be helpful as I really need to find a support group for what I have gone through.

Has anyone known of a doctor preforming a total pericardectomy which was caused from trauma?

I feel I was lied to and now my life is not what I was prepared for. I have to adjust to never being able to be active like I once was and want to be. My life has been stolen from me!

Can anyone relate to this?

From everything I am reading those of you who had the pericardectomy had alot of problems beforehand. I had none other than those related to the damage he inflicted on my pericardium.

I had no fever.

I just feel so cheated first by my husband hitting me and causing the damage, then my doctor being a ego maniac!

Sorry, that I am going on and on, but I had the same results as some of you said you had as far as no one to talk to about it because it was so rare!

Any input will be appreciated!
