I can feel my husband's heart beating

My husband had double bypass surgery in august 2008, he has been doing fine but for the last 3 weeks especially around bedtime i can feel his heart beating just lying next to him in bed and we take his pulse and it is averaging about 90 to 100...he is on beta blockers and his heart rate was for a long time in the 60 and 70s....anyone else have this

Hi his dose is 50 mg 2 x a day....i called his doc and he said he needs to be seen but we live 7 hours away...but the doc also said could be dehydration or anemia so we will work on that until our appointment on june 23, any more suggestions would be helpful
