Hello,
Just recently I have been having these heart "fluttering" arrhythmia sensations in my chest. Sometimes it happens when I am resting or lying in bed, and sometimes it happens when I am running on the tredmill. It is a scary sensation and only seems to last for about 3 or 4 minutes sometimes longer. I have read articles online that suggests it may be a cause of caffiene intake. I have not been to a doctor about this, however; I do know that doctor's have informed me that I have been living with a heart murmur all my life and have never grown out of it. I do have only one other symptom that may or may not be connected. This symptom has happened to me only about 3 times while standing in the shower or doing something else. The tips of my fingers feel tingly (almost like the feeling that my hands have gone to sleep) and then numb. I have also experienced this tignling numbness sensation radiating down my arm and into both hands. I am not sure if this is associated to these heart flutterings, but I do know that it is a very scary sensation. Should I be checked out for heart disease? I appreciate any input. Thank you!
