Hello Forum members,
My wife and I have gone through a preventive medical check up last Friday.
The good news is that I have received a clean bill of health, the bad news from the check-up is that my wife was diagnosed with an asceding aorta aneurism.
When doing the cardio echo check, the cardiologist said within one minute to my wife: "it is very good that you decided to do this check-up"
From what we understand now is that her condition is serious: echo showed 5.5 cm /CT & MRI showed 5.8 cm.
Also we have been informed that this is not very comon for a female of 47.
The whole medical circus is now just starting and more tests will be scheduled later this week, so needless to say that we are worried for what is to come.
Is there anyone who can give some guidance on what our best options are?
Thanks
